Janice Ann Kubiak

Janice graduated from Woodward High School in Norwood, OH in 1961, and then enlisted in the United States Air Force where she served until 1966. In 1963 she married Victor Kubiak. Janice also served in the Air Force Reserves from 1975-1996, and civil service from 1978-1994. Following retirement, she took care of dozens of foster children. She was a member of Peru Grace Brethren Church and taught in the Good News Clubs in local schools.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Alan Whitaker. She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Schultz (Jeffrey) and Laura Yeager (Dr. Doyle Yeager); her grandchildren, Kayla Decker, Lloyd Yeager, Zachary Schultz, Beatrice Yeager, Logan Schultz, Alyvia Yeager, Elli Yeager, Molly Schultz, and Sydney Yeager; and her great-grandchildren, Kirstyn Goshert, Caleb Decker, and Jackson Decker.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, January 22 at 5:00 P.M. at Peru Grace Brethren Church, 430 S. Broadway Street, Peru, with visitation from 3-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Peru Grace Brethren Church, 430 S. Broadway Street, Peru, IN 46970. Online condolences may be shared at www.neptunesociety.com/obituaries.
