Jacqueline (Jackie) Ruffo passed away peacefully on March 9, 2017. She grew up in Portsmouth, Ohio but spent most of her life in the Chicago suburbs of Evanston and Skokie, Illinois. For the last two-and-a-half years of her life, she lived in Fisher, Indiana in order to be closer to her family. Jackie was retired from the Harry Bosworth Company in Evanston, Illinois. She also worked as a part-time model,appearing in several print ads and gracing the cover of a record album. She was a world traveler and enjoyed music and visiting with her many close friends. Jackie was an avid supporter of several animal welfare organizations and provided a loving home for numerous pets over the years. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Ruffo (originally from Boston, Massachusetts), her long time companion Charles Willis (from Skokie, Illinois), her parents William J. and Cora lee Lowe (of Portsmouth, Ohio), her sister and brother-in-law Geraldine and Alfred Geraldi (of Diamond Bar, California), and her sister-in-law Nancy Lowe (of Portsmouth, Ohio). She is survived by her brother William J. Lowe, Jr. (of Portsmouth, Ohio), her brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Norma Lowe (of Fishers, Indiana), many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great nephews. Jackie will be greatly missed by her family and the many other people whose lives were touched by her kind and generous spirit.
