Gary Wayne Stanley

He was born in Burlington, North Carolina, on March 3, 1962, to E.B. Stanley and Phyllis (Bowden) Parks.

Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a proud member of the local Carpenters Union, from which he was recently retired. He was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Gary enjoyed woodworking projects in his home shop, and his talent remains in the gifts he made for the homes of his family and friends.

Gary leaves behind his daughter, Nicole Reams; his son, Andrew Stanley; brothers, Bruce Stanley and Paul (Barbara) Stanley; grandchildren, Kaidence Reams and Aubree Jane Reams; and a nephew, Caleb Stanley.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville, Indiana 46055. A reception will follow.

Neptune Society has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
