Eva “Kay” Workman, 77, Peru, IN, passed away February 17, 2019. She was born September 19, 1941 in Peru, the daughter of Earl and Mary (Hutchinson) Wilson. Kay was a graduate of Peru High School. She was a Golden Eagle of the Eagles Lodge #258 in Peru, where she was also a past president. Kay loved playing bingo, Skipbo, and doing word searches. She had formerly worked as a school crossing guard. In recent years, Kay had been a resident of Miller’s Merry Manor in Peru. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard “Skeeter” Workman, and her son in infancy, Richard “Ricky” Workman, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Turner (Mike), Diana Workman, and Dawn Workman (Donnie Coonce), all of Peru; her grandchildren, Josh Workman, Zack Workman (Rachel Clemans), Cheyne Turner (Jesse), and Nikki Workman (Zach Scheetz); her great-granddaughter, Sawyer Clemans; her sister, Rosie Carriger; her brother, Larry Wilson; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Kay was known and loved by many. A celebration of Kay’s life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 beginning at 1 PM at the Eagles Lodge #258, 56 N. Grant Street, Peru, IN 46970. Memorial gifts may be made to Kay’s daughter, Diana Workman, to assist with expenses.
