Donald Thomas Dufek

Born on April 4, 1934, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he graduated from Manual High School, Indianapolis, Indiana and enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Machinist at Eli Lilly and Company for 30 years.

On May 3, 1958, he married Catherine J. Osburn. Together, they enjoyed raising their four children, traveling, most specifically, cruising, and various hobbies. They lived in Florida for over 31 years.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Catherine J. Dufek, his four children, Thomas A. Dufek/Wife, Karrie Dufek, Mary K. Dufek/Husband Frank McCracken, Colleen A. Dufek, Lorri A. (Dufek) Lefevers; and by his eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother John Dufek of Brownsburg, Indiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents (Peter J. and Marie J. Dufek), brothers (Fred, Paul, Jerry, and Jim Dufek), and daughter, Mary K. Dufek.

A celebration of Don’s life will be held from 10:00 am-12:00 pm on Friday, April 24 at Our Lady of the Greenwood, in Greenwood, Indiana with a mass immediately following.
