Derrick Lee Heath

Derrick Lee Heath, 40, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away, surrounded by his family, on October 31, 2022. Derrick was born in Fort Wayne on June 2, 1982, to Daniel Lee Heath and Patsy (Lindley) Boucher.

After high school, Derrick joined the Army National Guard and proudly served his country from 2000 to 2003. He then worked for Shambaugh and Sons Fire Protection Services as a material mover and truck driver.

Derrick is survived by his longtime companion, Billie Stephens; his mother, Patsy Boucher; his son, Dylon Heath; his step-daughter; and his sister, Dawn Heath.

Derrick was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Lee Heath.

A Celebration of Derrick’s Life will be Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Military Honors at 2:30 p.m., at American Legion Post #47, 601 Reed Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46806.
