Danny Ross Martin

Danny served two years in the United States Navy. He performed with Bob Hope’s USO tours in Vietnam—bringing music and a steady sense of connection to those far from home. Music remained the enduring thread of his life: he played for 60 years and shared his talent as a member of the Average House Band in Greencastle, Indiana.

Danny is survived by his wife, Mikelyn “Miki” Martin; his stepson, Chris Monroe, and daughter-in-law, Rejane, of California; his daughter, Alea Martin, of Australia; and his grandsons, Bruno and Max Monroe, of California. He is also survived by his brother, Mike Martin, and sister-in-law, Jeannie, of Lebanon, Indiana, as well as several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sisters, Sally, Mary, and Lori.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
