

Charles Frank Games, age 91, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, in Mooresville, Indiana. He was born on January 17, 1935, at home in Morgan County, Indiana, to Donald Games and Ruby (Cassity) Games.
On March 18, 1967, Charles married the love of his life, Patricia Games. Together they shared many years of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Charles was an amazing father to Laweeta (Games) Mudd, whom he adopted shortly after marrying Patricia. He embraced fatherhood with devotion and pride, creating a strong and loving family bond that lasted throughout his life.
Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army and spent time stationed in Germany during his service. He carried his sense of duty and patriotism with him throughout his life and was honored to have served his country.
Charles was a proud retired machinist for General Motors, dedicating over 30 years of hard work and craftsmanship to his career. He loved working with his hands and built two of the homes he lived in, a testament to his skill, determination, and strong work ethic. Spending time in his garage working on projects was one of his favorite pastimes.
Charles was also a proud member of the Murat Shriners. He enjoyed riding his trike in parades and found great joy in helping others in need through his involvement.
Charles will be remembered for his strength, dedication to his family, and the kindness he showed to those around him. His wisdom, love, and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Laweeta (Robert) Mudd; grandchildren, Randall Vangundy, Selinna (Brett) Roberts, Adam Mudd, Andrew (Angela) Mudd, Alan Mudd, Austin (Whittney) Mudd, Sarah (Ben) James, and Christina (Gary) Schotter; great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Gavin Roberts, Cheyenne, Ethan, and Pierce Vangundy, Gracie Mudd, Breeze Mudd, Raya Mudd, Marvel Mudd, Hannah James, and Brooklyn, Kaden, and Amberlyn Schotter; and his beloved sister, Pam (Ronnie) Robbins.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Games; children, Steven Games, Charles Games Jr., and Martha Roseann Ford; parents, Donald Games and Ruby (Cassity) Games; and siblings, Bonnie Thompson, Elsie Haworth, Kenneth Games, Marilene Fredrick, Linda Stark, Sally Lacy, Leroy Games, and Paul Games.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
