Brian Lee Wilson

Brian Lee Wilson, lovingly known as "Cutie," passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, in Danville, Indiana, at the age of 67. Born on October 4, 1958, in Greencastle, Indiana, Brian lived a life defined by dedication to his family, hard work, and quiet loyalty.

A proud graduate of Eminence High School's Class of 1977, Brian pursued further education in mechanical studies at Lincoln Tech and earned his CDL certification. For three decades, he worked as a truck driver, a career that reflected his steadfast commitment to providing for his loved ones. His dedication to his family was unwavering and served as the cornerstone of his life.

Brian found joy in the simple pleasures of home life. A self-proclaimed homebody, he cherished the quiet moments spent with his beloved wife Debbie — whom he affectionately called QT— and their two Dobermans, "the boys" Toby and Mamba. Together with Debbie, he took pride in maintaining their family property and creating a haven of peace and comfort. Though he preferred the tranquility of home, Brian could occasionally be persuaded to join his son Steven, Elle, Ruby and Andrew by the pool —especially if a grilled steak and a glass of Jim Beam was involved. "Uncle Brian" was well loved by all the littles as well- Charlee, Piper, Jaxen, Caroline, and Colton.

In earlier years, Brian enjoyed skiing, golf, all the old cars and listening to classic rock and roll. These pastimes reflected his appreciation for both adventure and artistry. However, as time went on, he found contentment in the quieter rhythms of life. He had a fiercely loyal heart; those fortunate enough to be part of "his people" knew they could always count on him for unwavering support and protection.

Brian is survived by his devoted wife Debbie Wilson; his son Steven Wilson and his wife Elle and her children Ruby and Andrew; and his brothers Scott Wilson and Jim West. He was preceded in death by his parents James T. Wilson and Carolyn S. Wilson; grandparents Woody and Peggy Wilson as well as Glenn and Ruth Terry; and his brother Tracy A. Wilson.

Special thanks are extended to Cheryl Stevens and Darrell Wallace for their friendship, commitment and love through the years.

Brian’s memory will live on through the love he shared with those closest to him. May those who knew him find comfort in remembering his quiet strength, steadfast loyalty, and boundless love for his family—and may they carry forward the legacy of care that defined his life.

Rest in peace, Brian Lee “Cutie” Wilson. You will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM

We will be receiving friends and family from 11 AM - 2 PM Sunday September 6, 2026 to celebrate the life of our beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and friend Brian Wilson.

Lunch will be served at 2PM as a potluck type of meal, we will be providing Chicken and pulled ham- please bring a side to share and drinks for your family.

The Pool will be available; there’s corn hole and other yard games as well.

Please come help us say goodbye to a very special man.

Several people have asked how to help during this time- and the most honest answer is financially- due to his condition, no life insurance was able to be obtained, and his retirement/disability will end this month as well- leaving things very unstable for mama.

We are working on coordinating a benefit Barn Sale for September so there will be details posted soon regarding that event- however, if you’d like to donate towards final expenses/the memorial there are several options:
