William Lothrop Lucy

William L. Lucy, passed away on June 15, 2018 from Alzheimers Disease. Born, January 7, 1932 in Houston, Texas to M.J. and Cornelia Lucy. He attended Austin High School and college at Texas Tech and The University of Houston. He was the first President of the U of H Chapter of SignaNu. Bill served in the Marine Corps during the Korean war years. He was CEO of Lucy & Associates and a member of Bethel Church.

He is survived by wife of 62 years, Oveta Smith Lucy, sons; Mark and wife Cathy, Scott and wife Sherrie. Four beautiful granddaughters; Jennifer and husband Josh, Danielle and husband Kevin, Olivia and Townes. One great-grandchild, August.

Burial will be a family observance at a later date at Houston National Cemetery.
