Thomas E. Demarest of Tomball, Texas passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 69. He was born on May 18, 1955, in Geneva, New York and grew up in Schenectady, New York. He then moved to Houston, Texas in 1979.
Thomas joined the U.S. Marines in 1974 and served until being honorably discharged in 1979. We are always and forever grateful for his sacrifices and hard work in serving our country. Shortly after serving in the military, Thomas grew a passion for carpentry and he continued his strong work ethics, doing what he loved best, building with wood. He was a dedicated carpenter who loved to build beautiful furniture and worked very hard to take care of his family. He always had a great eye for designing quality structures, in which he filled his home with masterpieces.
Thomas was dearly loved by his family and friends. He will be remembered as a joyous person and known for his incredible sense of humor. The last year and a half have been difficult and despite spending much of that time in and out of the hospital, he never lost his sense of humor. He made nurses laugh by informing them that he was a handsome rascal. Thomas had many famous phrases that would either make you laugh or make you think. The family will always cherish all the wonderful moments and memories left behind.
