Scott Randal Owens of Sugar Land, Texas (age 55) died on January 11th, 2019, after a brief illness. Beloved son of George and Betty Owens, Scott is survived by his parents, son Joshua Owens, daughter-in-law Megan Owens, and daughter Lacy Peterman, grandchildren Caroline, Mason, and Barrett, siblings Rebecca Pille and Mark Owens, nephew Christopher David and niece Ashley Owens, and great-nephews Sylas Herrera and Cyrus David. Scott was a master floor layer whose perfectionism beautified homes, office buildings, hospitals, and movie theaters throughout Texas and Ohio. Scott chose to live a simple life with his family and friends. His hobbies included movies (westerns and sci-fi) and fishing. Scott's family will hold a small private service in his memory.
