

Scott was born on July 28, 1954, in New Castle, Indiana, to Betty Mahin Good and Francis "Sam" Good. He was the fourth of five siblings and spent his childhood in New Castle, Indiana; Memphis, Tennessee; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Dallas, Texas.
Scott graduated from Richardson High School and went on to earn a degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree in finance from Texas A&M University. He also attended South Texas College of Law. Scott practiced real estate law in Houston for 40 years.
He was deeply committed to his community and volunteered with River Oaks Baptist School and Church, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Bo's Place.
Scott was preceded in death by his former wife Sara Ann Burge Good, and his siblings, Stephen Good, Stewart Good, and Sharon Dunn.
He is survived by his brother, Shawn David Good; his daughters, Sara Elizabeth Good and Samantha Burge Good Alseth; and his wife, Anne Good, along with extended family and many friends.
Scott will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his profession, and the Houston community he served for so many years. His legacy will continue through his daughters, his grandson, his family, and the communities he served so generously.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Bo's Place in honor of Scott. Services will be held on Sunday, August 30th at 1:30 PM at River Oaks Baptist Church, with a reception to follow at Los Tios restaurant on Buffalo Speedway.
