Rose Mary Galvin went to be with our Lord on June 4, 2017 after a long illness. She was born in Casey, Illinois on September 22, 1931 to L. Dale Wood and Rosemond Pauline McIntyre. Rose Mary was raised by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen Funk in Casey. She was a member of the White Oak Church of God there. Rose Mary was a nurse for 49 years. She worked in many facilities and roles, but her longest position was as office nurse for Dr. Robert Ezell. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Norman Taylor Galvin. She is survived by her children: Deborah Elaine Howard (Steven), Sandra Annette Pongvachararak (Mathe), Matthew Dale Galvin (Debra), and Alisa Marie Lehr (Rick), her many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Donald McIntyre.
