Ronald F Scheuerman

92, passed away peacefully at home on February 9th, 2025 in Sugar Land Texas. Ron was born February 4,1933 to Fredrick Scheuerman and Helen Martha (Becker) Scheuerman in Portland, Oregon.

Ron graduated from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, where he got a degree in chemistry. He then spent two years in the Navy aboard the USS Lexington as a Lieutenant. After the Navy, Ron went to Rice University, where he earned a PhD in Chemistry. He was hired by Shell Pipeline, Bellaire Research Center, in 1961 where he worked until he retired.

Ronald married Aldene Heidelberg of Marshall Texas in 1961. They bought a house in Bellaire Texas where they raised two sons. They moved to Ashland Oregon in 1988 to retire. After 22 years in Oregon, Ron and Aldene moved back to Texas; the Hill Country in Kerrville in 2010. They moved to Sugar Land next to Mark and Debra, due to failing health, in 2017. Ron and Aldene were together for more than 64 years.

Ron’s Passions were woodworking in his shop, fly fishing for trout, jogging on the beach or through the desert, camping, environmental conservation, and his family.

Ronald is survived by his wife Aldene Scheuerman, children; Mark (Debra) Scheuerman, and Dean Scheuerman.
