Rodney Nicholas Kuehler

He graduated from Texas A&I University in Kingsville with a degree in accounting. Rod was a devoted member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church for more than 35 years, where he found faith, fellowship, and a strong sense of community.

Rod was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Agnes Kuehler, and siblings Harold, Dennis, Margie, and Wallace.

He is survived by his loving wife, Paula Budd Kuehler; daughter Gracie Stefanescu (George); son Alan Kuehler (Mary); and daughter Kim Ryan (Mark). He was a proud grandfather to Charlie Stansell (Brandy), Chris Stefanescu (Tiffani), Hayden Kuehler, Cierra Kuehler, Kate Ryan, and Carson Ryan; and a great-grandfather to Alex Stansell, Mia, and Case Stefanescu. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Rosy Kuehler and Gail Kuehler.

Rod loved the outdoors and spent many joyful days hunting, fishing, cooking, and enjoying time at the deer lease with family and close friends. In retirement, he cherished his men's fellowship group and mornings filled with laughter and conversation with the Whataburger Breakfast Group.

Rod will be deeply missed by his family, extended relatives, and many friends. His legacy of love, faith, and adventure lives on in all who knew him.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 24 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Community, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
