Bob had a great idea about 30 years ago.  I was in the restaurant business back then so he came by for my advice.  Bob bought a covered trailer and was going to covert it into a restaurant to use at Galveston beaches.  This was long before food trucks.   There was no one else doing this so the county had to make new rules.  Bob was very persistent and stubborn and he finally wore the county down and got his permits.  Bob's Dogs was born.  He went to Galveston as often as he could to sell his hot dogs and enjoy the people.  Bob fell in love with Galveston and decided to move there for good.
