Rita Faye Donaldson

Rita Faye Donaldson, age 75, of La Marque, TX passed away on May 6, 2025 after a short yet courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 19, 1949 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandma.

Rita had a big personality in a small package. She had an impact on each person she interacted with. She was courageous, inspirational, kind, loving, funny, and a ball of fire that showed us what can be accomplished with determination and persistence. Her greatest joys and accomplishments were the love of her husband and the gift of being a mom, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters Terry Donaldson and Susan Hoff and husband, Grey; grandchildren Grey Hoff Jr. and wife, Faith, Lauren Winebrenner and husband, Chase, Brent and wife, Rachel, Alyssa Hoff, and Katie Nunez and husband, Carlos Nunez; and great-grandchildren Evie and Harper Hoff, Cameron and Hunter Winebrenner, Sophie Hoff, and Blaze and Serenity Nunez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 54 years, David Donaldson and mother Flora Belle Bierman (Cokes).
