Rene Munguia

Rene Munguia, 70, passed away on March 23, 2018 in Deer Park, TX following a ten-year battle with cancer. He was born November 7, 1947 in Kingsville, TX to Gilberto and Josefa Munguia who preceded him in death. He was the fourth of five children.

Rene married the love his life Adriana (Adie) Arce on May 9, 1970 and together they welcomed three children, five grandchildren and a great grandson. He was deeply devoted to his family. He was also an accomplished musician, artist, and actor whose work will continue to inspire many.

He will be remembered as a loving, peaceful man who always put others before himself. He epitomized humanitarianism and never wavered in his faith in God, family and charity.

Rene is survived by his loving wife Adie, his daughter Michelle Woods and sons Rene Jr. and Carlo. He is also survived by his five grandchildren Dylan Wyatt, Jordan Wyatt, Teagan Wyatt, Elias Munguia, Atticus Munguia, great grandson Nolan Wyatt and siblings Gilberto Munguia, Jose Rolando Munguia, Elvia Norris and Roberto Munguia.

A celebration of his life will be held in Deer Park, TX in the near future.
