

Patricia was born on September 18, 1939 in Pensacola Florida, to parents Charles and Lillian Monroe. She was the second of four children to bless the Monroe home.
After Patricia finished school, she worked for a short time in a flower shop before she married and began her family. April 17, 1965, in Illinois, she Married William F. Jenkins Sr.
Throughout her life Patricia lived in Florida, Illinois, Virginia, and Texas and it is in Texas that Patricia was called home to Heaven, she passed away on May 17, 2021.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband William F. Jenkins Sr., sister Shirley Swasey, brother William Monroe, and parents Lillian and Charles Monroe.
As a religious person and active member of Katy First Baptist Church of Katy, Texas, Patricia lived the sayings do unto others, as you would have them do unto you and always be kind.
Patricia enjoyed life some of her favorite activities were playing bingo, shopping and spending as much time as possible with her friends who lived alongside her at Legacy Long Meadow. Another favorite past time was putting puzzles together and completing crossword puzzles.
Patricia was also a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where in the 90’s, for a period, she held the title Worthy Matron.
Patricia is remembered as being soft-spoken, loving, funny and kind. Her children and grandchildren will remember Mom and Grandma as a beacon of love who will be deeply missed.
Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory, son Johnny Torentino of Houston TX, daughter Melinda Proctor of Canyon TX, son William F. Jenkins Jr., of Needville TX, daughter Rhonda G. Martinez of Richmond, TX, sister Judy McGowan of Houston, TX, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved without end.
In honoring Patricia's wishes , she will be cremated and her ashes , along with the ashes of her husband William, will be scattered at sea off the coast of Florida.
