Maureen lived as a child in Galveston, Texas, attending her first few years of grade school in this city. She then moved with her parents to League City, Texas, where she graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1961.
After high school, Maureen graduated from Massey School of Business and then worked as a legal librarian until her marriage in 1970 to Richard.
Maureen’s true calling, however, lay in charity service, leading her to work in a number of food missions within the Houston area.
