Martin William Kaye

Martin William Kaye, age 96, of Houston, Texas passed away February 10, 2023 in his home. Marty was born on December 19, 1926 in Clifton, N.J. to Martin Kwasnoi and Henrietta Guichard Kwasnoi. Marty grew up in East Rutherford, N.J. and graduated from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA in 1952. Marty met Elizabeth Anne "Nancy" Holter in college, and they married in 1954 and had four children together.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Blanche Kwasnoi Breen and Alice Kwasoni Snyder. Marty is survived by his wife Nancy and four children: Jeffrey Martin Kaye, Robert Alan Kaye, Elizabeth Lee "Betsy" Kaye (Fred Worm II), and James Steven Kaye (Lee Anne Heap Kaye). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Marty worked as a Senior Principal engineer many years for ESSO/EXXON and M.W. Kellogg, which took him to Tokyo, Milan, Paris, Jakarta, Aruba, and other exotic locales. He enjoyed playing softball and tennis, traveling with Nancy, and spending time playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on March 13, 2023 at the Cy-Fair Christian Church, 9730 Grant Rd, Houston, TX 77070
