She was born on May 22, 1943, in a farm house in Punkin Junction, OK, and adopted by Newell and Ann Lynch who lovingly raised her as their own.
Linda’s greatest desire in life was to be a wife and mother, and that is exactly what she did, marrying her high school sweetheart, Dean Robison, less than a month after graduation. Their early life was rarely easy, but it was always happy, full of friendship and joy. Less than two years after their marriage, Linda became what she’d always dreamed of–a mother. LaDeanna, the first of her five children, was followed over the next ten years by Cindy, Alan, Danny, and Dean. This family of seven grew in the fierce, unwavering, and unconditional love that Linda and Dean fostered in them.
While Linda might not have had a career, she was one of the hardest working people one could meet. Whether it was taking in ironing, working on an assembly line, being a secretary, or aiding a school nurse, Linda always worked, helping to make sure that her family always had what they needed. One of her greatest joys in providing for her family was making sure that Christmas was extra special. It meant so much to her to see her kids wake up to full stockings and a tree surrounded by gifts.
As her children grew and the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren came, her heart grew even bigger to love them as much as she loved her children. Whether it was taking them on trips across the state or even across the country or just babysitting and playing grocery store or having cotton snowball fights, her world centered on loving these people who were so utterly precious to her.
She brought this same love and compassion to the community and churches that she and Dean served. The two weeks that she lay in hospice saw a parade of friends come to say their last goodbyes. This was a true testament to the many people she loved and who loved her. Her servant heart truly reflected the love of Christ in her.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother Garland Raney and his wife JoAnn, her sister Jean Heath and her husband Calvin, her brother Marvin Raney, and her brother Tom Lynch.
Linda is survived by her husband Dean Robison Sr., her daughter LaDeanna Robison, her daughter Cindy Golden and her husband Scott Reeh, her son Alan Robison and his wife Patricia, her son Danny, her son Dean Robison Jr. and his wife Rebecca, and her son in Christ, Patrick Friudenberg. In addition to her children, she leaves behind twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, in-laws, and future in-laws. She also leaves behind her beloved sister Ruth Ann Marshburn and her husband Tony.
Finally, she leaves behind many, many dearly loved extended family members and cherished friends who will miss her deeply.
