Linda Marie Billig

Linda was born on December 12, 1947 to Emile Lillian Polasek and Cyril Martin Krchnak in Sealy, Texas where she attended grades K through 12. Linda went on to have two children, Mark Scott, married to Christina and Jennifer Christine married to Jayce.

After nearly 20 years as controller, Linda retired from Denso in 2017. In her free time, she enjoyed reading Stephen King books, watching scary and Sci-Fi movies, and spending time with her grandchildren: Zoe, Jacob, Hannah, Ethan, Jayla, Emilie, Madeleine, Jaycelyn, and great grandchildren Malachi and Michael. She loved dancing and would reminisce about days when she often visited dance halls throughout the Wallis-Sealy-Chapell Hill area. She was well-known on her street for passing out ice cream to neighborhood children- after they said “please” and provided a “thank you”.

Linda was predeceased by her sisters Doris Jean Krchnak and Debora Nell Schneider. She is survived by her sister Cynthia Ann Josuan. Indeed, she leaves behind many friends and family members who knew her for her strong-will, Christian values, and life-long commitment to helping those in need.

Services will be held at St Matthew the Evangelist Church on August 10th at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude’s or Texas Children's, organizations Linda felt strongly about.
