Lee Eugene Duree

Lee E. Duree, Jr., 76, of Magnolia,Texas passed away July 31, 2023 in The Woodlands. He was born June 18, 1947 in Ironton, Missouri, the oldest son of Lee E. Duree, Sr. and Roberta Joyce (Harbison) Duree.

Lee graduated from Arcadia Valley High School-Class of 1965 and later served with the United States Army in Vietnam during TET 1967-1968. In 1972 he was united in marriage to Kathryn Jane (Miller) Duree. To this union 2 children were born, Amy Elizabeth and Lee (Levi) E. III. Lee's greatest pleasure in his life was being with his children and grandchildren. He was adored by all and will always be remembered as an amazing Dad and Poppy.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, a sister, Sandra Joyce and a brother, Steven William.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Kathi, his daughter, Amy Hickman (Chris) his son, Levi Duree (Mandy) and his 7 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Pyburn Duree, Mason Levi Duree, Kaylee Reagan Duree, Jordan Olivia Hickman, Reese Elizabeth Hickman, Miles Rylee Duree and Kinlee Grace Duree. A sister, Sally Ann Slover (Don) also survives. Lee also leaves behind many dear friends and family.

Lee was a gentle soul, a giant among men. He will be forever missed.
