Sad to learn the demise of Dr. Krishna Dronamraju sir, whom I knew from 1988 onwards. Met him at Toronto during  XVI International Genetics Congress, and had a long discussion highlighting our Department of Genetics at Osmania University and senior staff and research. Subsequently he visited our Department on several occassions and delivered talks and had rapport with senior Geneticists. Subsequently had been communicating with him on FB and WhatsApp. I was lucky to spend an hour with him along with Michele Wambaugh, at Hotel Marriott, Hyderabad, in November 2018. Jus then he had brought out his A CENTURY OF GENETICISTS,
which had become very popular. I really miss his wise counsel and discussions on contemporary topics in Genetics. Remember him respectfully and offer pranamas to the great GENETICIST.
