(May 10, 1942 - September 12, 2018)
Kathleen Reagle of Houston, Texas passed away at her home on September 12, 2018. Kathleen Kee was born May 10th, 1942 in Washington D.C. to Helen Chapman and James Kee. Both her grandfather and grandmother were Members of Congress. Later her father also served. As a young girl she lived with her father at the American Embassy in Uruguay. She also attended various boarding schools. When she returned home to attend high school in Maryland she met her first husband Charles and they had two children before divorcing. She met her husband Ronald Reagle in Las Vegas, Nevada. They married on June 30th, 1967 when she was only 25 years old. Suddenly she was the mother of 6 young children. She prided herself in being a wife and homemaker even sewing for the girls and creating a nice home for her family. They lived in Nevada and later moved to Arizona. She learned about a brand new program at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. for training in a new field as a Forensic Document Examiner. Only three positions were open and her little family moved to Maryland in the hope she could pass all the entrance exams. She was accepted into the program where she graduated at the top of her class. It was an amazing accomplishment for 1973 and especially for a woman. She later suffered from agoraphobia and was unable to work in her chosen profession.
Kathy is survived by her husband and love Ron Reagle of Houston. They celebrated their 51st year of marriage this past June. He cared for her all the days of her life but especially at the end. She is survived by 6 children, Helen (and Joel )House, Charlie (and Stephanie ) Reagle both of Sugar Land, Texas and Teresa Reagle, Geneva Corwin, Loretta Reagle and Richard Reagle- all of Boise, Idaho. She is also survived by multiple Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her sisters Kirsten Cook and Karen Gilbert. In honor of Kathy's compassionate and generous spirit remembrances are suggested by donating to the donor's favorite charity. A Memorial Service will be held September 20, 2018 at 2:00pm at the First Colony Church of Christ 2140 First Colony Blvd Sugar Land Texas 77479
