Josefa Cardoza Galvan

Josefa Galvan, 81, of Houston TX found peace on August 14, 2026. She was born in 1945 to parents, Francisco and Enriqueta. Josefa was a loving mother, loyal and devoted wife, treasured friend, and overall a good and kind hearted person. She was always willing to help out a friend or family member in need. When she was younger, she enjoyed visiting family in Chicago and Mexico. As she got older, she shared stories of those times with her grandchildren.

Josefa is preceded in death by her parents and her sibling, Jose. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Galvan Sr., siblings; Sisters- Teresa, Victoria, Yolanda, Sylvia, Queta, Minnie and Ruth, Brothers- Humberto and Francisco, Her three children and their spouses; Eldemiro and Concepcion, Leticia and Antonio, and Arthur Jr and Samantha. Her grandchildren; Jessica, Eldemiro Jr., Israel, Iriam, Stephanie, Antonio Jr., Jose, Samuel, Arthur lll and his wife Emily, Nicolas and Jasmine. Also her great grandchildren.

A small mass at Assumption Catholic Church will be held on a Saturday at 10am to bless her urn.

Josefa will be greatly missed and she is forever in all of our hearts. 💕
