Jose Ramon Ortiz

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, José Ramon Ortiz, who passed away on August 10, 2026 at the age of 91. He was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico.

José was a devoted husband, a loving father, a beloved grandfather, and a cherished great-grandfather. His family meant everything to him, and his love, strength, and presence touched the lives of generations. It is difficult to fully capture all those whom José touched throughout his life—his extended family, friends, and everyone blessed to know him. He was a man with an enormous heart, great intelligence, strong character, and unwavering integrity. José was deeply respected and loved by all who knew him.

As a husband, he was a cherished friend, partner, and companion of 58 years. As a father, he gave his love, guidance, protection, and wisdom. As a grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, he brought a special kind of love and joy to his family and those around him. The memories and moments shared with him will forever be treasured.

Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we are grateful for every moment we were blessed to have him in our lives. His sense of humor, laughter, kindness, words, love, and the lessons he taught us will continue to live on through his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family. and friends.

Saying goodbye to someone who meant so much is never easy. We will miss him more than words can express, but we find comfort knowing that his memory will never fade. His love will continue through the generations he leaves behind.

Rest peacefully, José.

You may no longer be with us physically, but you will forever live in our hearts. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed.
