Janice Ann Wooderson

In addition to being a homemaker, after Business College, Janice worked as a secretary for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Co and Anadarko Petroleum. She loved sewing, gardening, singing in the church choir, playing in the bell choir, and was active with Meals on Wheels. Janice grew up in the Central Christian Church in Caldwell, KS. As they relocated, Janice stayed very active in the First Christian Church in Newton, KS and at the Montgomery Methodist Church in Montgomery TX.

On July 8, 1956 Janice married Jack Wooderson in Caldwell, KS. They shared 67 years of marriage.

Janice is survived by her husband Jack Wooderson, sons Rick (Jo) Wooderson, Hutchinson, Randy (Jeri) Wooderson, Wichita; along with 6 grandchildren Michelle DeGiusti, Jennifer Truta, Ryan Wooderson, Mandy Wallace, Angela Herring and Kimberly Trimmell, 11 great grandchildren; 1 great -great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sondra Slothower and son Ronnie Wooderson.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Central Christian Church, Caldwell, Kansas on March 2 at 11:00am.
