Jacqueline Carol Covington

Jackie was the best part of the lives of her husband for 39 years. She was a loving, caring mother and the greatest helpmate any man could ever hope for. She was a talented lady, making many fine crafts including greeting cards and jewelry. Jackie was an animal lover, with two surviving furbabies, Jack and Coco the miniature pinschers who miss her terribly. She spent the majority of her adult life as a dedicated mother, wife, and homemaker, or as we preferred to call it, as a domestic goddess.

Jackie is survived by one brother, Denny Powell, Jr., and one sister, Gaye Adams.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Truax Terry, and her stepfather, Chuck Terry, and a brother, Paul Powell.

There will be no funeral. A memorial event will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to Houston Hospice, Planned Parenthood, or The Freedom From Religion Foundation, or to a charity of your choice.
