Because of his larger-than-life personality, Jack never met a stranger. He was a faithful husband, father, brother, and friend due to the deep, deep love of Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. While he will be greatly missed, it is a comfort to his family and friends that he is home with the Lord, bringing his love of laughter and big personality to the halls of heaven.
Jack was born in San Antonio, TX to Rudolph Daniel Kutzer, Jr. and Kathryn Szcech Kutzer. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife, Carol Tucker Kutzer, his daughter Abigail Kathryn, son Tucker Daniel, brother Rudolph Daniel Kutzer, III, and The Other Woman (his Ford Mustang). He is also survived by his chosen family of Sharon Carter (husband, Nick Carter deceased 1-28-23 and mother of Dee Cates) Dee Cates (wife Regina), and Matt Dennis (wife, Cheryl). This chosen family graciously took Jack into their homes and hearts during his high school days and remain dedicated friends.
Jack graduated from Bellaire High School in 1986. Upon moving to Houston, he lived with and worked for his uncle and aunt, Jim and Sally Johnston at Johnston Tool Sales until returning to San Antonio to apprentice under his father to be a plumber.
In 1993, he married Carol, and in 1996 they moved to Houston and opened Drains by Jack. They joined Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Katy, where he was ordained a deacon. Jack was an excellent plumber, as well as a master handyman available whenever anyone called. He enjoyed serving others and brought joy and humor to everyone he assisted. He enjoyed traveling, especially with his wife, and used his gifts and skills to serve in missions in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina and in Guatemala multiple times.
Through Jack’s plumbing career, his love of cars, and his beloved church family, he touched untold lives, and our world has lost a remarkable man.

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40)
