Henry Ferdinand Wedelich Jr.

Henry died on June 4, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, holding the hand of his great granddaughter who lovingly cared for him the last few months of his life. The love of his life, Dorothea W. Wedelich, preceded him in death after almost 70 years of marriage. Born in Houston, Texas on May 7, 1927 to Hilda Funke and Henry F. Wedelich. Henry and Dorothea left a legacy of 15 children, 37 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, a Man of Faith, an inspiration to many and a good friend. Rosary at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 17, 2021 at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 2140 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas followed by a funeral mass and reception. Committal service is at 2 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery. Donations can be made in his memory to Maryknoll or Society of St. Vincent de Paul, of Houston.
