Frank John Noetzel, 93, of Spring, Texas succumbed to a short battle of cancer in the comfort of his home on October 13, 2018. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the U.S.S. James E Craig Destroyer Escort in the South Pacific. After the war he studied cosmetology in New York City. He started Frank’s Beauty Salon in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Georgia retiring after 35 years. Frank was always smiling, telling jokes and having a good time no matter the circumstance. He was the life of the party because of his outgoing, witty, and infectious happy-go-lucky personality. Anyone that spent time with him knew that he was a special man with entertaining stories to share with anyone willing to listen. Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Harriet Panzner Noetzel, his brothers Joseph Noetzel, Otto Noetzel, and Eric Noetzel and his sister Katherine Noetzel. Frank is survived by his loving daughter Lynne Charbonneau and her husband Steve Charbonneau and four grandchildren Beau Charbonneau and his wife Lauren, Case Charbonneau, Luke Charbonneau and his wife Alyssa, and Juliet Charbonneau. He also leaves the light of his life three great granddaughters Savannah, Abbey, and Olivia Charbonneau. Frank and his wife Harriet will be placed in the Columbarium Wall at the Houston Veterans National Cemetery on March 22, 2019.
