Frances J Taylor

born on July 3, 1944, in Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away on January 22, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

Frances spent her early years in Texarkana and Port Arthur, Texas, before settling in Houston. She was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother who cherished her family deeply.

She is survived by her children: David (Andrea) Aselin of Yoakum, Texas; Leigh Hayes of Lansing, Kansas; and Aimee Dobson of Houston, Texas. Frances also leaves behind her siblings: Clysta Henley of Eastland, Texas; Mark (Janice) Cigainero of Pearland, Texas; and Carol (David) Crockett of Tucson, Arizona. She was also a proud grandmother to five grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Milburn Taylor of Houston, Texas. Her parents, James and Joyce Cigainero of Houston, Texas. And her sister, Ann Santiago of Houston, TX.

A memorial service to honor Frances will be held on Saturday, February 8th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, located at 5315 S. Main St., Houston, TX 77004.

Interment will take place later at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
