My deepest sympathy to the Leal family, Zamorano Family and all other close relatives and family. My husband me and my daughter had the pleasure of speaking with Milo at the very beginning of 2020. It was very early in January before Covid. We went to go visit him. I asked him a list of questions about life. He shared that he had no regrets if he had to do it again he wouldn’t change anything because he had been so lucky the first time around. He said his favorite trip was one to Mexico with his daughter Lili and Son in law Manuel and other family relatives. He said if there was one thing he would have changed it would have been to have made his health more of a priority and to eat better. It was a beautiful moment. May he be at peace. So sorry to learn that our dear friend Lili has lost her beloved father.  The whole family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Our hearts (Mine & Eduardo’s) are literally breaking. I passed by the 1740 house a couple of times yesterday. A lifetime of memories in that house. Holidays, football games and carne asadas. Tio’s love language was definitely “ acts of service “ as Knight of Columbus, Holy Smokers, military veteran and active at St. Michaels the Archangel in Garland. He was always there for anyone who needed help. The memories are endless. I have had close friends reach out from China, Mexico, Belgium, France and all over the USA. He touched so many lives always welcomed everyone in his home for a great meal and a cold beer. He was the epitome of hospitality. I know “que  ya se armo una pachanga en el cielo” with Tio Milo, Chico, John, Uncle Joe Vera, Grandma Conrada, Grandpa Chico, Mama Lily & Mr. Garcia and cousin Danny… and so many others. Los quiero mucho 💔🙏💔🙏

Never a dull moment with Milo. He stopped to play music in Chinatown while shopping for a jade Buddha.  He shared stories of Vietnam and how a friend had given him a piece of jade.

Tio Milo was a larger than life character. His  often light hearted spirit and infectious laugh could fill a room of any size. He loved connecting with people around him via his many great shared stories and countless outlandish jokes, unsuitable for this format😁!! He was extremely knowledgeable in a variety of subject matter but he truly shined when passing on wisdom gained from a life well lived. Tio Milo was always so comfortable in his own skin. It didn’t matter if he was speaking to a stranger off the street, a business professional, or a long time friend, he always presented himself in the same manner. He always stayed TRUE to himself. I so admired this, not so common, trait about him. 
As a kid growing up in Kingsville, he made an unforgettable impression on me. I still attempt to mirror some of his best qualities in my own life. He provided many great examples to take from and countless wonderful memories. I’m truly grateful to him for including me in his circle. Im beyond blessed by the time spent with Tio Milo and I will miss him for the remainder of my time here. I love you Tio. Be free. Until next time, salud.

We have so many wonderful memories of our “Gang” hanging out at the Knights of Columbus events in Garland! We all had so much fun! It was truly a special time in our lives.  The  family events and celebrations we shared with each other for so many years have left us beautiful memories of friendships that are priceless! Valla con Dios, amigo! Pronto nos veremos otra vez! Descansa en paz!

I remember chaperoning Milo and Melba to the movies in Kingsville when they started dating. As Melba's maid of honor, I witnessed their marriage. He was my compadre. This pic reminds me of all the good times we had every time we got together.  He and José are sharing beers by now.

I first met Milo in January of 1985 when a newly department was created at Mobil Oil as a result of the acquisition of Superior Oil company which was the company from Houston that Milo transferred from to Dallas.  We clicked right from the start and worked side by side the many long hours as accountants. I had many fond memories of our family and Milo’s family with the many family events and outings. My fondest memory of Milo was our many happy hours where we always shared stories and jokes and endless laughter.  I looked up to Milo like an older brother full of wisdom and endless humor. There was never a dull moment of all those times we shared together.  I will truly miss my good friend and fellow Veteran.  Rest in peace brother.  Friends for life to eternity.

I remember living in Huntsville & almost every weekend Tio Milo & Melba would take Scott & I out, to a mideviel fair in a nearby town. When Scotty was born Tia Melba & Milo were the first ones to share the good news with us. Thank You for the visits, the time shared with us.  You will be missed, at parties, cookouts, football games, Thanksgiving & Weddings. May God welcome you into his kingdom.
