Emma J Nyien

October 3, 1952 – October 5, 2026

Emma J. Nyien, beloved sister and cherished friend, passed away on October 5, 2026, in Katy, Texas, at the age of 74, just two days after her birthday.

Emma was born on October 3, 1952, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Chinese American parents, David and Alice Nyien, who preceded her in death.

Emma leaves behind her brother, Harvey Nyien, and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her. Though her family circle may have been small, the love and friendships she shared extended far beyond it.

Emma’s life touched the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the many lives she was part of. She will be remembered with love and missed by all who held her dear.

May she rest in eternal peace with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
