Elizabeth Annette Anderson Moore, 90, of Pearland, Texas, went to be with Jesus on July 21, 2026. She was born January 3, 1936, in Brunswick, Georgia, to Charles Marion Anderson Sr. and Pearl Herring Anderson.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Marion Anderson Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy Charlotte Anderson Moore, and her husband, Dick Moore; her sons, David Earl Moore Jr. of La Porte, Texas, and Bill Grady Moore and his wife, Lisa, of Village Mills, Texas; her grandchildren, Bill Grady Moore Jr., Michael Leon Moore, April Moore Wells, Ashley Moore Blakely, and Justin David Moore; and six great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur Texas . While attend TJ, she was a proud member of the Red Hussar Drum & Bugle Corps. Founded in 1930, the Red Hussars were the first all-female drum and bugle corps in Texas.
She was a longtime, devoted member of First Baptist Church, Pasadena.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of VITAS Healthcare Hospice in The Woodlands, Texas, for the loving and compassionate care they provided to Elizabeth in her final days.
