Donald Rae Murray 88, born September 24, 1930 in Bethel, KA, US Army Veteran of the Korean war, went home today to be with our heavenly father December 13, 2018 in Houston, TX. A beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved life, family, and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Robert Murray and sister Wilma Walker. Left to cherish his memories: wife Billie Murray, sister Winona Light, daughter Pam Cox and husband Wayne, son Steven Murray and wife Wanda, son Keith Murray and wife Sherri; grandsons Kyle Cox and wife Katie, Cory Cox and wife Christine, and Gene Murray; Great Grand children Noah Cox, Sienna Cox, and Dakota Cox; nieces, nephews, numerous friends and church family. A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm, Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Oaks Christian Church, 1216 Bethlehem St., Houston, TX 77018.
