Charles was a great man and a good friend. He will be missed , my deepest sympathies.

Charles Heimseth was a class act . 
After being his massage therapist for over 20 yrs ,he became a dear friend ,mentor and a quite hero to me.  
The way he talked about Christy was down right adorable, and his love for his family was inspiring. We'd  have the best talks about God,family, business, art ,music and tennis,til he'd fall asleep. I would not been able to have my practice for as long as I did without Charles.  He would give me raises without me asking, he helped me out during cvoid,..,give me business advice. Even after I moved away, he still would check in on me . He quietly showed me what God's love looks like without preaching . 
 When I first met him I thought he was this tough business man ,and I'm sure he was ,but as I got to know him, I realized his probably the kindness man I've ever known. He walked through this life with such grace ,strength and love for his family . I'm inspired to be more like Charles Heimseth everyday . 
My deepest condolences to his family and all of us that lost a gem of a man

Charles was one of the very early Downtown Austin Alliance board members who dedicated more than three decades volunteering in service to the organization, downtown, and the city we know he dearly loved. We will miss Charles as will so many others. I wish to offer my deepest sympathy to his wife Christy and his family.
