Carol was also a proud grandmother to Samantha and Jack and cherished her great-granddaughter Siena.
After retiring, Carol and George embraced a life filled with adventure and tranquility, splitting their time between the Northwoods of Wisconsin and Long Boat Key, Florida. They also enjoyed traveling extensively with themselves and family across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. They settled in The Woodlands, Texas since 2005.
Carol found immense joy in her kitchen, where she pursued her favorite hobby of cooking and baking. She was an avid reader who loved solving crosswords and Sudoku puzzles. Her faith was an important part of her life; she regularly attended church services and participated in Bible studies.
Carol’s warmth and dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
A memorial will be held for Carol on Saturday February 8 at 2pm at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in the Woodlands.
