Burton A. Jones Jr.

Burton A Jones Jr, was born in Texarkana, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas he moved to Houston and married Dulcie Munro and had a daughter Robbie. In 1972 he married Norma Holland. He and Norma shared many common interests such as the love of theatre. Norma loved acting and he loved directing her in plays and helping with lighting & background sound tracks. He also loved his music, all kinds but mainly classical as well as opera. They retired to Pearland, where they spent many happy years before Norma passed away in 2010. Burton is survived by his daughter Robbie, grandchildren Nicole, Justin and Jonathan Voltz and 5 great grandchildren in Australia. He is also survived by his step-children's family Lisa, Dale, Kristen and Brandon Wilder, Richard Holland and Dan Bryant. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, 1117 Texas Street, Wednesday, Jan 25th 1 p.m. Following the service will be a celebration of life at the Church.
