Brian Michael Foy, age 71, passed away peacefully on October 28th surrounded by his wife and good friends. He was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, but spent most of his young life in Wilton, Connecticut. After attending Drew University, he joined the Air Force and spent four years going back and forth to South Asia. During the Vietnam War, he was a member of a B-52 Squadron based in Guam.
He joined Caltex Petroleum in 1973 and enjoyed a wonderful career living in four African countries, then to years in New Delhi, India. After Caltex, he joined McDermott and was posted to Moscow, Russia. He retired to Houston, Texas, but wanted to continue working. He joined the British Consulate in Houston as Vice Consul for Oil and Gas, made lots of good friends and was off again traveling the world.
He and his wife carol were happily married for 47 years, they travelled the world together. He was known by many as a kind and generous man who loved driving his Ferrari thru the Hill Country in Texas. He will be missed by many friends all over the world!
