Annette Guerra, 58, of Houston, TX passed away on February 15, 2026: surrounded by family peacefully. Born December 8, 1967 in Houston, TX. Annette was the daughter of Lupe W. & Sylvia A. Mendez. She attended J.W. Oates Elementary, W. S. Holland Middle School, E. L. Furr High School. Annette worked in various capacities: Dynamic Industrial Industries as an inventory specialist, and as a personal caretaker for an elderly couple: Oren A. & Vera K. Sterchi.

She is survived by: Brother: David R. Mendez & nephew: Zachary A. Taylor-Mendez. Children: John Paul Guerra, Ashley N. Guerra, Steven R. Guerra, Melissa A. Guerra (deceased) & Eric R. Guerra; 6 grandchildren: Jaiden Guerra, Syriana Guerra , Johnathan Benitez, Justin Sanchez, Jr., Mary Jane Guerra, & Nicholas Guerra. Numerous aunts & uncles.

A mass will be held at St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church, 9700 Villita St, Houston, TX 77013, 713 672-6141 on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 9:00 A.M.
