He was born February 4, 1946 in Abington, Pa to Alexander Bondar Sr and Helene Giroud Bondar. He graduated from Wyoming High School in 1964 He then attended University of Wyoming and University of Delaware where he graduated in with a bachelor’s in engineering. Upon graduating from college, he entered the United States Air Force and served two terms in the Vietnam war. In 1971 he met the love of his life, Margaret Ellen Creswell and they married November 26, 1971. Alex completed his service with the United States Air Force in 1972 and started his career as a chemical sales engineer. His success in the field brought Alex and Ellen to their forever home of Sugar Land, Tx. In 1977, Alex was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Shortly after they started their family with the arrival of Alexandra in 1978, Nickalos in 1981 and Ashleigh in 1983. Due to the disease, Alex retired in 1988. He lived the remainder of his life a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was love immensely by everyone he encountered. He lived a full active life despite the disease.
Alex is preceded in death by his mother, Helene Bondar and Father, Alexander Bondar Sr.
Alex is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret Ellen Bondar; children: Alexandra Bondar Eichenberg and Spouse Jason Eichenberg, Nickalos Bondar, Ashleigh Bondar, Brother: Michael Bondar and grandchildren: Hayleigh Eichenberg, Raegan Eichenberg and Shaely Tandy.
Services are June 28, 2019 at 1:15pm with an interment at The Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Houston, Tx 77038 with a Celebration of Life immediately following at 15582 Zoe loop Dr Montgomery Tx 77316.
