Shirley Anne Knisely

Shirley (Mansfield) Knisely of Dublin, Ohio passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born on March 10, 1935 in Fostoria, Ohio, where she grew up with her parents Harley Mansfield and Reba (Gibson) Mansfield, sisters Joyce and Marilyn, and brother Bill. In 1955, she married Norman Knisely of Fostoria who preceded her in death in 2012.

She graduated from Fostoria High School in in 1953 and attended college at Bowling Green State University.

Shirley was an avid reader and, along with her husband, gardener.

After raising her children Douglas and Joan (Violante), she worked as a counselor at the Opportunity Center in Tiffin, Ohio, where she lived until 2015. Following that, she lived in Hilliard and Dublin, Ohio, until her passing.

She is survived her by son, Douglas (Yantao), daughter, Joan (Randy), and five grandchildren, Katherine, Emily, Paige, Ron, and MoLing.
