

He was born on August 19, 1929 in Adams, New York and is preceded in death by his loving wife Catherine of 53 years. He is survived by many family members, including his 7 children, 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Richard graduated from Alfred University in New York with a degree in Ceramic Engineering. He relocated to Columbus and retired from Claycraft Brick Company after a 45-year career.
After raising their family in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Catherine and Richard retired to North Port, Florida and lived happily there for over 20 years. He participated in all that Holiday Park had to offer and helped his family, friends and neighbors regularly. He also combined travel with medical missions in Africa and South America.
Richard and his family were lifelong members of St. Pius X Catholic Church at 1051 Waggoner Road, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM, followed by a reception to celebrate Richard's life. A private family interment will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio at a later date.
