if this is the Mike Lentz of my youth, and I believe it is..Mike had a great impact on my Life when I was a much younger person..I remember Mike as having a keen interest in Military History, German  regalia as well as a fondness for Maj.Gen George Armstrong Custer, a liking of the Silent Film era, Starlets of the Time, Mabel Normand, Clara Bow, Fatty Arbuckle, Keystone Cops..he liked the Freak Brothers Comic books, I remember Mike as a very free-spirited soul, he was the kind of guy who loved music, and dinner parties..I can go on and on..here's to you Mike..Keep On Rockin!!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Mike for over 20 years. We never missed a birthday or Christmas card.  Mike was intelligent, witty and kind.  He loved history, flea markets, road trips, attending the State Fair and most of all his cat, Andy.    
He remains in my heart and my thoughts...

I was Mike’s mailman for a few years, We often talked about our love of history, how it was odd we were both San Diego Chargers fans as well as shared the same birthday 11/20. Had a few adventures over the years. It’s been awhile since I talked to him and just stopped by his house today when I found out he has passed. There’s a lot I would have still liked to share with him. Good bye friend.

I met Mike in school in when he lived in Elmhurst Illinois.  He taught me a lot about ROCK AND ROLL. We lost contact for a while. I am glad that we reconnected about 5 years ago. We would exchange a letter in a Christmas card. He was  great guy.  I’ll miss him.   James Chopores

I will never forget the time in summer 2022, Mike took me to Motts Military Museum. I had never been there before and the experience was very humbling.
