Mary Jane Guy

Jane graduated from Harding High School in 1948 and later, Marion Technical College, and worked as a CPA. She was an avid tennis and Buckeyes fan and enjoyed playing tennis and bridge.

Above all, Jane loved her family. On September 11, 1949, she married Francis E. Guy (Fritz), who preceded her in death on April 19, 2024. This year, they celebrate 75 years of marriage as they begin their journey through Eternity together.

There are four children, all of whom survive them: Jennifer Guy of Upper Arlington; Dr. Gregory (Nancy) Guy of Upper Arlington; Lisa (Dan) Adams of Seattle, WA; and Julie (Tim) Powell of Dublin, along with 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

After retirement, Jane and Fritz moved to Florida, where they built a house, played a lot of tennis and made many wonderful friends over the course of the next 20 years. They returned to Central Ohio in 2018, where they lived in Dublin and most recently, in Powell.
