Gary Benca

Gary R. Benca 86 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away June 4, 2021. Gary passed on to be in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, His Lord and Savior. Gary was born May 12,1935 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Marie Benca.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. Gary was an Educator, an Artist, a published Author. He was highly educated with a Masters in education and a Phd in Ministry. He took great pride in his collections from around the world and his many memories. He will be missed by family and many friends around the globe.

Gary is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, his brothers Ron Benca, John Benca, Russ Benca and his sisters Virginia and Rose Marie, his son Gary S Benca.

Gary is survived by his sons James (Connie) Benca of StCloud, Florida, Rick (Cathy) Benca of Lancaster,Ohio, Bill Benca of Marion, Illinois, Ken (Lisa) Benca of Nashville, Tennessee, daughters Gail

Johnston of StCloud Florida, Betty Edwards of StCloud, Florida, and Jennie Benca of Lancaster, Ohio and many grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as his Korean Family of California.

Gary wished for no services and cremation has been handled by Neptune Society.
